Why we exist
Rebel Decaf started with a simple frustration — specialty coffee had made extraordinary leaps in sourcing, roasting, and brewing, yet decaf remained the menu afterthought. Commodity grade, chemically stripped, and tasted like it.
We believed that decaf drinkers — whether by choice or necessity — deserve the same craft and care as everyone else at the brew bar. So we built a roastery dedicated entirely to getting decaf right. Not as a side project. As the whole point.
Swiss Water Process — our non-negotiable
Every coffee we offer is decaffeinated using the Swiss Water® Process — the only method that removes caffeine without chemical solvents. Pure water and activated carbon filters strip caffeine while preserving the complex flavour compounds that make specialty coffee worth drinking.
The Swiss Water® certification on every one of our bags is a commitment to quality and transparency we take seriously. No exceptions.
Sourcing & selection
Our green coffees are sourced through trusted import partners with deep origin relationships. Every lot is specialty grade 80+, cupped and selected for flavour character — not just for being available as decaf. The result is a range that genuinely surprises people who come in expecting mediocrity.
